Light at the End of the Tunnel?
After a year of COVID, is that the light at the end of the tunnel we can now see?
With restrictions beginning to lift it may be time to plan the work that was dropped during the lockdowns. For process safety, that may involve Human Factors.
Under the COMAH regulations, Major Accident Hazard sites are required to "take all measures necessary to prevent and/or mitigate the consequences of major accidents”. This includes Human Factors.
At Haden Freeman C.I. we offer the full the range of Human Factors services, commonly HRA training and HRA workshops (part of Managing Human Performance), but also covering:
- Human Factors in Process Design
- COMAH-Critical Communications
- Design and Management of Procedures (a real passion of ours)
- Competence Management Systems
- Managing Organisational Factors
All of our work is supervised and peer reviewed by Chartered Human Factors Specialists with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors, meaning you can be sure that the work will meet and exceed the demands of the competent authority.
So, if you are worried the light at the end of the tunnel may be the express train of the Competent Authority speeding towards you with demands over Human Factors, drop us line.
